Synopsis

Magic is a product of neither legends nor fairy tales, but instead has become a technology of reality since a time unknown to people. Supernatural power became a technology systematized through magic, while magic became a technical skill. A "Supernatural Power User" became a "Magic Technician." Magic Technicians (in short, Magicians) are nurtured through Magic High Schools and Universities.

This is a story about:

Tatsuya, a defective elder brother low achiever.
Miyuki, a perfect, flawless younger sister high achiever.

My First Impression

I have been eagerly waiting for this series for a long time. And I'm happy to say that the first episode didn't disappoint me. Tatsuya's character and personality came out pretty cool and composed. The voice actor did a great job here. I was hoping that Miyuki will be a little more beautiful... but... oh well, the concept of beauty differs for each person :P . I'm a big fan of it's light novel series. A large part of each novel is dedicated to the explanation of how magic works. But seems we may not get that much explanation in the anime. I don't mind, cause if they put them in, the anime will get boring and the story will become too slow. Seems for the purpose of the anime, the script writer discarded some part from the original novel. But not too much that may hinder the story. I just hope that they won't have the stupid mind to include fillers in this series. I see it will be consist of 26 episodes. I wonder how many volumes of the novel they are gonna cover in here. I can't wait for the next episode.
